Avoid Sun Exposure:

Refrain from excessive sun exposure and tanning beds for at least a week before your appointment, as sunburned or tanned skin can be more sensitive to the treatment.

Stay Hydrated:

Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated and in optimal condition for the treatment.

Follow recommended home care system:

To ensure your skin is a healthy condition, homecare might be recommended. This is done to ensure that the full benefit of the treatment is obtained and the skin is not “overwhelmed” by the treatment.

Avoid using harsh skincare products, such as exfoliants or retinoids, for four days or so before your appointment to prevent any potential irritation or sensitivity during the treatment.

Inform Your Provider:

Inform your skincare provider of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications you are taking, as well as any previous skin treatments you have undergone, to ensure the treatment is safe and tailored to your specific needs.

Avoid Blood-Thinning Medications or alcohol consumption 24h pre appointment:

Refrain from taking blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin, ibuprofen or alcohol for at least 24 week before your appointment to minimize the risk of bruising during the treatment. For blood thinning medication consumers, please contact your technician to discuss the dose you are taking. It is possible that you would be requested to refrain taking medication 3 days before the treatment, and approval might be needed from your doctor.

Wear Comfortable Clothing:

Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment to allow easy access to the treatment area (should body treatments be done) and ensure your comfort during the procedure.

Arrive on Time:

Arrive at your appointment on time to allow for any necessary paperwork or consultation before the treatment begins.
