Follow recommended homecare prior to treatment:
To ensure the skin is in healthy condition, follow recommended homecare systems as recommended by your technician.
Follow Specific Instructions:
Follow any specific pre-procedure instructions provided by your skincare provider, as different treatments may have unique requirements based on your skin type and condition.
Avoid Sun Exposure:
Refrain from excessive sun exposure and tanning beds for at least a week before your procedure, as sunburned or tanned skin can be more sensitive to the treatments.
Discontinue Retinol Products:
Discontinue the use of any retinol or vitamin A-based skincare products for at least a week before your procedure, as these products can increase skin sensitivity and irritation during the treatment.
Avoid Blood-Thinning Medications: or alcohol
Refrain from taking blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, or alcohol for at least 24h before your procedure to minimize the risk of bruising and ensure proper healing.
Inform Your Provider:
Inform your skincare provider of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications you are taking, as well as any previous skin treatments you have undergone, to ensure the procedure is safe and tailored to your specific needs.
Avoid Harsh Skincare Products:
Avoid using harsh skincare products, such as exfoliants or acids, for a few days before your procedure to prevent any potential skin irritation or sensitivity.
